GenuTrain S Knee Support

Product is 5*, but the material is only 2* - it’s a fantastic knee support that really works, but after only one month the fabric has torn - not impressed, very disappointing for the price, very disappointing customer service (no product replacement)

I had high hopes for this knee support which appeared to fit well and also provide good stability. However I was very disappointed to have some bruising on one side of knee bone after only an hour of tennis. The padding around the internal hinge joint area is too thin, enabling undue rubbing pressure against the knee. This is a design flaw which could have easily been overcome with thicker padding around the hinge joint. I will have to return to using my old support for tennis. I notice some other reviewers have had the same problem.

Excellent quality.Seems to provide great support

I have been using the GenuTrain S knee brace for several years. I bought these to replace these as they are slowly wearing out. They served me well, help to stabilize my sore knees when playing golf.

Felt really nice walking and standing, however after only one hour of Wrestling I now have two big bruises on my knee where the side support is attached.

Great product when onbut have to put Velcro so tight to stop it falling down it fits leg perfectly but keeps dropping down over the day which is such a shame because when in position it’s great

It certainly takes some of the pain away. Gives me more confidence when walking and I can go up shallow stairs properly and not one step at a time. So far so good.

Not really had the effect I was hoping for. Expensive mistake.

High quality and very well made brace. It helped with my pain and allowed me to stay on my feet and walk for longer now.

Only complaint is about the hinge part on the side of the brace - it is supposed to stabilize the knee from the side (and it does) but it also means it rubs and press heavily against my knee causing chafing, tenderness and pain. I don't know if it's just a me and my knee kind of thing or simply a lack of sufficient padding in this area on the inside of the brace. I think it's the latter or maybe a bit of both, but that's just a personal opinion.

Overall an excellent product.

Really good product. High quality materials and very supportive. I used it when I had a bucket handle tear in my lateral meniscus and 50% tear in ACL and it made a huge difference.

I’ve been dealing with ongoing issues after an ACL injury (non-surgical), trying to get back to playing football once a week. My knee would often lock up, give way during certain movements, and swell up with pain after games.

Excellent brace , really sturdy and strong. Does not slip down your knee like other braces do. Feels like it will last a long time as is great quality . Only downside for me personally is the side hinges leave me with large brown bruises either side of my knee after sports from crushing against my knee so would not advise this brace for any sort of physical contact sport .

Excellent brace for the knee. Allows movement but keeps knee cap in the correct position.

I have many leg wraps and braces and this one is the only one that has proved to offer releif and confort.. I am ordering another spare tday. I had a torn meniscus a few years ago and now have developed arthritis. This one truly works and is so comfortable. The one the DR gave me pinched my bones and my knees still swelled up. If you are hurting and feel hopeless I would try this one. You will be so glad you did. I love mine and can walk again in comfort without having to take pain meds!
