Medical compression

Graduated pressure that helps your veins do their job

[DRAFT] VenoTrain applies the most pressure at the ankle and gradually less up the leg. That gradient supports the vein walls and valves, helping blood return to the heart instead of pooling in the lower leg.

[DRAFT] Class 1 and Class 2 are the two clinical compression strengths used in the UK. Your GP, nurse or clinician will tell you which one you need.

Who VenoTrain is for

Varicose veins and venous insufficiency

[DRAFT] Daily support for tired, heavy or aching legs caused by weakened veins.

After vein treatment or surgery

[DRAFT] Worn after sclerotherapy, ablation or vein surgery as directed by your clinician.

Long days on your feet or travel

[DRAFT] Standing jobs, pregnancy and long-haul travel, where swelling and discomfort build through the day.

Getting the right fit

Measure in the morning, before swelling builds

  1. Ankle[DRAFT] Measure the narrowest point just above the ankle bone. This sets your size.
  2. Calf[DRAFT] Measure the widest point of the calf. This decides Normal or Plus.
  3. Length[DRAFT] Floor to the bend of the knee. Short or Long.

Caring for your stockings

[DRAFT] Wash at 40 degrees, no fabric softener, and air dry. Washed daily they keep their compression for around six months of wear.

[DRAFT] Donning gloves make them far easier to put on and protect the knit from nails and rings.

Common questions

Which compression class do I need?

[DRAFT] If you have a prescription, order the class on it. If not, Class 1 suits mild symptoms and travel; Class 2 is for diagnosed vein conditions. Ask your GP or clinician if unsure.

How long does delivery take?

[DRAFT] VenoTrain is made to order by Bauerfeind in Germany. Allow up to 12 working days.

Open or closed toe?

[DRAFT] Closed toe is the standard choice. Open toe suits wider feet, sandals, or if you prefer to wear socks over the top.

Can I return them if the size is wrong?

[DRAFT] Returns policy wording to confirm.
