Many of our customers used to receive compression stockings on prescription and now self-fund. These are the same clinical-grade German-made stockings, in a knit comfortable enough for every day.

“I used to get these on UK NHS - now I buy them myself because they are a perfect fit for my long, slim legs, and I know they are doing a great job in supporting my veins.”

Shoppers said they provide excellent support for venous insufficiency, with "perfect fit" for long slim legs. They retain elasticity well, lasting at least 6 months. Many customers continue wearing them long-term, even purchasing them privately after previous NHS use.

I've worn these ever since being treated at the Whitely Clinic who first issued them to me, they last at least 6 months and they're very comfortable and retain their elasticity well for the duration.

We are so happy to hear that they have been a comfortable and long-lasting option for you, especially after being recommended by the Whitely Clinic. Common questions

The things people ask us most before ordering.

What happens if I order the wrong size?

For hygiene reasons, VenoTrain products cannot be returned or exchanged, so it is worth double-checking your measurements before you order. Send your measurements to our team or email orders@jointoperations.co.uk and we will confirm the right size before you buy.

Can I wear it under clothing?

Yes. The knit is low-profile and designed to sit under trousers, leggings or a tracksuit without bunching. Most people wear it all day without anyone noticing.

How do I wash it?

Machine wash at 30°C on a gentle cycle with any fasteners closed. No fabric softener and no tumble drying - dry it flat, away from direct heat.

Washing it regularly actually helps: it lifts the body oils out of the knit and the compression holds its shape for longer.

How long should I wear it for?

Most people wear a support during activity and take it off to sleep. If a clinician recommended it to you, follow their guidance - they'll have a plan for your particular situation.

If you've bought it yourself for ongoing pain and you're not sure, it's worth getting the underlying problem looked at rather than relying on the support alone.

When will it arrive?

Standard delivery takes 3-4 working days and is free on orders over £95. Order before 12:30pm Monday to Thursday for next-day delivery.

Orders placed before 12:30pm on a working day are dispatched the same day; after the cut-off, or at the weekend, they go out on the next working day.

Can I claim it back on insurance or through work?

Some private health policies and occupational health schemes cover orthopaedic supports when they've been recommended by a clinician. We can send an itemised VAT invoice for your claim - just email us with your order number.

Can I buy wholesale for my clinic or shop?

Yes. We're the UK distributor for Bauerfeind, and we supply retailers, clinics, pharmacies and physiotherapy practices directly. Send us a trade enquiry and we'll come back with pricing and account terms.
