Sports Knee Support improves the movement of the knee during longer sporting activities through gentle, beneficial compression and protects against overloading. The support surrounds the knee joint. An anatomically contoured pad surrounds the kneecap. This special functional element captures and disperses pressure peaks. When the knee moves, the pad and the knitted fabric massage the connective tissue and the muscles. Two pressure points and lateral wings deliver targeted stimuli. This stimulation boosts the metabolism and triggers positive sensorimotor feedback: The stabilising muscles are activated more quickly, thus improving joint coordination. This provides effective protection against stress and injury risks. Overloading pain subsides more quickly, preventing the adoption of damaging relief postures. The knitted fabric of the Sports Knee Support is similar to a fine net made of an airy mesh and consists of a breathable, hard-wearing material. This makes the support especially lightweight, comfortable to wear, and practical for sports. Its anatomic contouring and adhesive zones guarantee a secure fit and maximum freedom of movement.

How to measure
Bend your knees slightly. Determine the center of the knee cap and extend to the side of your knee as a starting point. Measure the circumference 14 cm above this point towards your upper body (A) and 12 cm below it towards your feet (B).

I purchased this knee support in July 2025 after suffering an ACL tear and a bruised meniscus. I’ve been using it regularly at the gym, and it provides excellent stability and support while remaining very comfortable to wear, even during longer sessions. The quality is impressive and it really helps with confidence during workouts. The only downside is that it’s a bit expensive, but overall it’s a great product and well worth it.

Not fit purpose , was told by my physio to get this knee support and it is just a sleeve really . Not support for your knee cap at all

Amazing knee support. After my ACL tear, this knee support has been working really well. Of course, it can’t replace muscular support, but as an additional layer of support and, especially, for confidence, it definitely helps. So far, it’s the best knee support I’ve ever had.

Too tight, maybe should have ordered XL. Very little side support. The “bamboo” side struts give no support at all. Very disappointed

We're sorry to hear the support didn’t meet your expectations. I'd suggest trying a different size, but it sounds like you may have been looking for something a bit more robust in terms of support. The Sports Knee Support is purposely more flexible than others. We do have other options with metal struts as opposed to our moulded plastic. But appreciate you may be sorted for now.

Perfect, I hardly notice it’s there when cycling. But it does what it has to do!
Used it today for the first time. It really helped to support my knee
Received my knee brace in good time with plenty of communication.
Brace feels light yet robust enough to provide the support you need.
Been on several runs ranging from fast(ish) 3 miles to slow 11 mile plod since receiving this and it has helped massively whilst running pretty much reducing knee pain to zero.
It has also had the welcome benefits of recovery helping me to be more consistent with my training.
Was very hesitant in buying this due to the cost but am very glad I did as it is leagues apart from the usual sock type £20-£30 braces available.

Great build and really does support my knee, only thing I would say is that it does get hot after wearing it a few hours, but that is just my work day I think, most normal people wearing for normal hour jobs or sports will be fine with it

It has been a good purchase. It gives me an optimum support during gym workout. Unfortunately it does not help me much when I walk down slopes Generally I am confident that it will help me to strengthen my legs and hopefully it will delay the knee replacement.

Unfortunately it slips down. All the sizing is correct but the top rolls so it gradually slides down the leg.

What happens if I order the wrong size?
Send it back within 30 days for a full refund, or email orders@jointoperations.co.uk and we'll swap it for the right size.
Measuring before you order is the quickest route - the size finder on this page turns two tape-measure numbers into a size in about twenty seconds.
Can I wear it under clothing?
Yes. The knit is low-profile and designed to sit under trousers, leggings or a tracksuit without bunching. Most people wear it all day without anyone noticing.
How do I wash it?
Machine wash at 30°C on a gentle cycle with any fasteners closed. No fabric softener and no tumble drying - dry it flat, away from direct heat.
Washing it regularly actually helps: it lifts the body oils out of the knit and the compression holds its shape for longer.
How long should I wear it for?
Most people wear a support during activity and take it off to sleep. If a clinician recommended it to you, follow their guidance - they'll have a plan for your particular situation.
If you've bought it yourself for ongoing pain and you're not sure, it's worth getting the underlying problem looked at rather than relying on the support alone.
